Frequently Asked Questions | Air Freight

Can my cargo be transported by plane?
We check weight, dimensions, type of material, and dangerousness. Airplanes have strict limits on space and cargo per piece.

Is the cargo dangerous or regulated?
Chemical substances, batteries, gases, flammable liquids, etc., require special documentation and approval from the air operator (according to IATA).

What are the weight and volume limits?
Each aircraft has limits. E.g.: Voluminous cargo may require freighters or “nose-loading” on larger planes. Heavy pieces need special pallets and reinforcements.

How should the packaging be?
Reinforced, lightweight packaging, with visible labels (gross weight, fragile, correct side, etc.) and a structure that allows for quick movement.

What documents are required?
Air Waybill (AWB), commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, and specific documents in case of dangerous cargo (DGR).

How is the cost of air freight calculated?
Air freight cost is calculated by chargeable weight - the higher between gross and volumetric weight (volume/6,000).

What are the additional costs?
Fuel surcharge, security (screening), storage, delivery/pickup at terminals, insurance, etc.

What is the total time for air operation?

Delivery times range from 1 to 5 business days, depending on collection, customs clearance, and destination.

Are there regular flights to the destination?
Commercial lines offer daily flights. Special cargo may require dedicated freighters or chartering.

How can I track the cargo?
We send the AWB number and tracking link. We also provide reports.
